“
The soul seeks God with its whole being. Because it is desperate to be whole, the soul is God-smitten and God-crazy and God-obsessed. My mind may be obsessed with idols; my will may be enslaved to habits; my body may be consumed with appetites. But my soul will never find rest until it rests in God.”

For Everything A Season
I love that about our God! He created a world that He engages in that is cyclical, moving in the rhythms of birth, growth, death, resurrection. As we enter the fall season I am reminded of the ways in which we each experience death seasons. Times when life seems to be stalling, or stagnant. Hidden behind a blanket of soul frost. Yet, as nature points us we know that the seed that is entrusted in the hands of the Father is never wasted. It may be dormant, but it is in process. Do you ever feel that way? Dormant…but in process?
This season of soul care sessions have been amazing in the freedom and the expression that people are finding in what has been to them only frozen ground. If you are experiencing a time of seeming fruitlessness…breathe. Steady your anxiousness and remember, their is promise in the hiddenness and beauty in the waiting.
Ecclesiastes 3 : There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven—
